I left a comment on Alexa Kitay's site, here is my comment: Photo Critique: I'm really drawn to the contrast in this image. The deep silhouette of the trees against the rich blue of the sky immediately grabs my attention. The main interest seems to be the clouds stretching horizontally, framed naturally by the tree branches. The composition is strong, using the negative space of the sky to balance the dense, organic outlines of the leaves. This image makes me feel really at peace. If I were to adjust anything, I might play with cropping slightly to bring the focus more to the center of the cloud or enhance the contrast just a bit more to sharpen the silhouette edges. But overall, the image feels serene and visually satisfying. Link to her image: https://alexak7.wixsite.com/my-site-2/post/dozen-photo-challenge

Hi Mia! I really love these two images, and I appreciate that you included both in your post because they share a similar theme, with matching lighting, bright colors, and a nice rock feature. But while they are similar, they are obviously both very different, which I appreciate as well, since it shows your complexity in your photography talent. The first one caught my attention right away because of how you used the puddle almost as a mirror, which is a method that I really like and was something that I tried as well. The second photo feels more ambient and calm, and I think that the person looking out over the water at the sunset really helps…
